Regrets! I regard the snow
Fallen in frigid freeze
Clinging, gripping obstinately
To sub-zero breath and breeze
Yet, invites a welcome stay
To warmth, to hearth; home and heart
Retreat! Into the sheltering arms
Of the One who won't depart.
Oh yes! "Retreat! Into the sheltering arms of the One who won't depart!" What welcoming thought this morning! Simply beautiful.

Martha, the beauty of snow and cold seems to beckon to us to slow down, to retreat indoors and simply be...be in the presence of God.

Amen, Kim, it does! God is the warmth and love we all crave and need.
