They lie in wait

With patience strong

Enough to break

Through defenses

Vowed, rigorous.

Still, they persist.

Will not give up.

Have learned the ropes.

Manipulate.

Agenda met,

Nothing stops them.

And we fall, fall,

Further.  Abyss

Looms.  Yawning beast

Consuming all,

And saving none . . .
