I hear you, Lord, not with words
Spoken; I hear you
Indefinably, yet undeniably
I know You are there. You speak
In language I can only grasp in soul
I rest my case, by grace, this sinning heart
Will treasure an inheritance's promise.
Thank you for sharing these words, Martha. I frequently think about the hymn "Here I am Lord" in the UMC hymnal...it speaks to my heart.

Kim, I will definitely look up this hymn as we have a Methodist Hymnal here at the house. So many years of doing contemporary worship, it's easy to forget the tried and true songs.

I am enjoying your "Moments and Musings"...so brief, yet to the point and right on target. How often do we stop and listen to God's still small voice? Not often enough.
ReplyDeleteNot often enough is the absolute truth, Pamela! I'm so glad you have found me here at Moments and Musings, but my main blog is Meditations of My Heart (I will be on hiatus from this in the next week), but you can check it out at http://marthaorlando.blogspot.com. I'm so thrilled to know you are following me and I so appreciate your words filled with wisdom and encouragement!
