Aww I love squirrels! Very cute! I remember when we first moved out to our house I had never paid much attention to squirrels and there comes a time when they will shed their fur on their tails to make nests for their young. I got freaked out, took a bunch of pictures of them, because I thought they were rats! True story. Yeah, one I don't tell too much because I think people will think I'm crazy. At the same time I googled "squirrels looking like rats" and realized I am not the only one that has made that mistake! ;)
Wow, Jessica, I didn't know squirrels actually did that! And, with all the squirrels we have living in our woods, I'm surprised I've never seen one with a rat-tail. Yes, I love squirrels, too, and one plays a very important role in The Glade Series. Grey, the squirrel, is one of the main characters in the novel. Hope you'll read it soon! Love and blessings!
that is a fabulous capture... not long ago I took my kids to the game ranch near our house, and the squirrels were FRIENDLY, which, I found incredibly odd... they actually got near enought that the girls basically handed them food.
Amy, that's quite an experience for the kids! Danny actually took this photo out of our dining room window. As the squirrels are rarely still, this photo was a gift! Hoping we can use this photo for the cover of my next installment in The Glade Series. :) Blessings and love!
Oh so cute. I don't think NZ has squirrels, at least I've never seen one here, but we loved watching them when we visited my brother in New York. Love your moment! Here's mine: http://suzyspics.blogspot.co.nz/2013/01/this-moment-happiness.html
Such a cutie! I love this photo. Have a great weekend Martha!

Yes, they are cute and such fun to watch! Sorry you don't have them where you live, but glad you got to see some in NY.

I haven't seen a real one but I remember drawing them for Roy :) Wonderful shot!
ReplyDeleteMelissa, they move so quickly, Danny was truly fortunate to get this photo. :)
